People that have a passion for music will gravitate towards the guitar. Anyone that wants to learn how to play will ultimately have to put some time into the craft though. It is not impossible to master the instrument, but it does take some time.
There are certainly people that learn on their own. Some people are just very musically inclined and have an instinctive ability to pick up a guitar and start teaching themselves. There are also all types of videos online that teach people how to play instruments, some are free and some cost money.

Additionally there are also a wide variety of music teachers in Australia that teach other instruments should that interest you.
With that said, not all teachers are equal. It actually takes a lot to be a teacher. Because while many people can play instruments like the guitar; everyone is not able to teach. Some people know how to play rock guitar and that’s it. Others may have a knack for jazz guitar, but they may not be proficient in anything else. Furthermore, not everyone is a good communicator. That is key when it comes to teaching any instrument.
Fortunately, Brisbane has many guitar teachers that know the fundamentals and are good educators to boot. These instructors may specialize in one genre, but others may have the ability to teach lots of different genre specific guitar lessons. These instructors may be proficient in rock, blues, jazz, country, funk and classical guitar lessons, as well as any other genre you can think of. Most people that consider taking up lessons would not even realize that there are so many different lessons available, but there are.
Australia has a lot of talent and many of these talented individuals have built their foundation by learning from others that teach. The acoustic guitar is quite popular among many different young adults and teenagers. Any guitar school that teaches this will ultimately have huge fan bases of young adults.
You may find that Middle-aged musicians may have more of a thirst for something like blues or jazz guitar. These individuals may get more out of lessons from people who specialize in electric guitar lessons.
The best thing about taking guitar lessons is that individuals get a chance to choose. In Australia there are many instructors offering both individual and group classes. This gives students the option to choose one-on-one instruction or from a group environment.
